ASUS TUF Gaming A14: 14-inch Strix Halo gaming laptop now available for RM7,599
Fresh off the launch of the ROG Flow Z13-KJP and their consumer-focused laptops, ASUS is back at it again with a new gaming laptop in Malaysia. This time round, it’s the ASUS TUF Gaming A14, a compact gaming laptop that doesn’t have a discrete GPU, but rather an AMD Strix Halo processor with a powerful integrated GPU.

The TUF Gaming A14 will be available in a single configuration with an AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 392 processor with Radeon 8060S graphics, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Priced at RM7,599, it is already available for purchase from the ASUS Malaysia website as well as ASUS authorised retailers nationwide.
TUF Gaming A14 specs
As mentioned earlier, the TUF Gaming A14 doesn’t actually have a discrete graphics card. Instead, it comes with the Strix Halo-based AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 392 processor, which packs 12 cores, 24 threads, an up to 50 TOPS AMD XDNA NPU, as well as integrated Radeon 8060S graphics. This puts it a step below the headline MAX+ 395, with a lower core count, but still the same powerful 40 CUs in its GPU. You’ll also get 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, while new 97-blade Arc Flow fans keep it all cool.
Despite the powerful hardware the overall laptop itself is just 1.48kg light and 1.69cm thin, built out of CNC-machined aluminum with geometric diamond-shaped cutouts on the underside for extra flair and air intake. As for the display, the 14-inch IPS panel pushes a WQXGA 2560 x 1600p resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio, along with a 165Hz refresh rate and full coverage of the sRGB colour gamut.
Other features of note include a white backlit keyboard, Dolby Atmos speakers, a 73Wh battery and support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. As for I/O, the TUF Gamign A14 comes with a USB 4 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
