ASUS Refreshes ProArt P16 Creator Laptop with Ryzen AI 9 CPU and RTX 50 Series GPUs
ASUS Malaysia has announced the refreshed ProArt P16, a professional-grade laptop built for creators and video editors. At its core, the device is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX370 processor, delivering up to 50 TOPS for AI-driven tasks such as content generation and video enhancement. Users can choose between an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU or the more powerful RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
The ProArt P16 is purpose-built for professional video editing, supporting 10-bit 4:2:2 colour format for more accurate colour grading. It enables multi-track 4K and 8K video playback, speeds up export times, and improves system stability when working with high-resolution, complex video projects.
Its 16-inch ASUS Lumina Pro OLED display features a 4K (3840 x 2400) resolution, with support for 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, Pantone Validated certification, and factory calibrated Delta E < 1 for precise colour accuracy. It also comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 and Dolby Vision support. The RTX 5070 configuration includes a 60Hz display, while the RTX 5090 model offers a 120Hz panel.
For thermal performance, the laptop features Ambient Cooling and Tri-Fan technology, combined with liquid metal thermal compound to help maintain performance under load. It also includes the ASUS DialPad for precise, app-specific control in supported creative software.
Despite its capabilities, the ProArt P16 remains portable at 14.9mm thin and 1.85kg, and is tested to MIL-STD-810H durability standards. Connectivity includes USB4, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI 2.1 (FRL), and an SD Express 7.0 card reader. Wireless options include WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
External display support varies by model: the RTX 5070 version handles up to three displays at 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz, while the RTX 5090 model supports two displays at 8K/60Hz plus one at 8K/120Hz, or two at 4K/240Hz plus one at 4K/120Hz.
The ASUS ProArt P16 will be available in Malaysia starting 13 October 2025 through ASUS authorized resellers. Pricing for each configuration is as follows:
