ASUS Malaysia Unveils Gaming Laptop Refresh with NVIDIA RTX 5050
ASUS Malaysia has officially introduced its refreshed range of gaming laptops, all now featuring the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. The update spans across the brand’s key gaming segments, including the ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and ASUS Gaming series. Aside from the RTX 5050 GPU, these models come equipped with the latest Intel and AMD processors, high-refresh-rate displays, and DDR5 memory.
The 2025 refresh of the ROG Strix G16 is offered in two variants. The G614 model features an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, paired with 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. It comes with a 16-inch FHD+ display running at 165Hz. The G615 version instead uses an Intel Core i5-13450HX processor with the same memory and display specifications. They are priced at RM6,999 for the G614 and RM6,599 for the G615.
The updated TUF Gaming A16 model runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor and includes 16GB of DDR5 RAM with 512GB SSD storage. The TUF Gaming F16 carries an Intel Core i5-13450HX CPU and offers the same RAM and storage configuration. Both laptops feature a 16-inch FHD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The A16 is priced at RM5,999 while the F16 comes in slightly lower at RM5,799.
The ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) is powered by the Intel Core 5 Processor 210H. It includes 16GB DDR5 RAM, a 512GB SSD, and a 16-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. his model is the most affordable in the series at RM4,799.
All six new gaming laptops from ASUS featuring the RTX 5050 GPU are now available for purchase in Malaysia.
