ASUS debuts ROG G700 gaming desktop in Malaysia

ASUS has introduced its latest gaming desktop, the ROG G700, to the Malaysian market. The new model is built entirely with ASUS and ROG components, including the CPU, GPU, memory, and cooling system.
The ROG G700 is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 9 processor 285K, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 PRIME graphics card with 16GB of GDDR7 memory. It supports advanced graphics features such as DLSS 3.5 and Frame Generation, which are designed to improve frame rates and overall visual performance in compatible games.

In terms of memory, the desktop comes pre-installed with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. It also supports PCIe Gen 5 storage, allowing users to upgrade to faster drives in the future. The internal layout is cooled by four 120mm case fans, with options for air or liquid CPU cooling. Air-cooled variants feature a traditional tower air cooler, while the liquid-cooled models are equipped with a 240mm all-in-one (AIO) solution. All versions include three dust filters to help reduce debris buildup over time.

A notable feature of the ROG G700 is its tool-less side panel access, designed to simplify upgrades and internal maintenance. This could appeal to users who frequently modify or clean their systems.
The ASUS ROG G700 is officially priced at RM14,999 in Malaysia.
