ASUS x BAPE collaboration sees Vivobook S 15 OLED adorn fresh new look

ASUS has joined hands with iconic streetwear brand BAPE (short for A BATHING APE) to release a limited-edition version of the Vivobook S 15 OLED.

The collaboration between the two sees the Vivobook adorn a fresh new look, now embellished with a heavy touch of BAPE’s iconic camo design. The goal mainly to appeal to both streetwear enthusiast and tech-savvy individuals.

The Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition still comes in its original two colours: Cool Silver, and Midnight Black. However, both now feature camouflage patterns etched onto the laptop lids, along with a reflective logo tag.

The camo design elements spills onto other sections of the laptop, including the bottom side of the laptop, and the touchpad.

Moreover, the Vivobook BAPE Edition also features camo bundles consisting of a carry bag, mouse, stickers, and a figurine of BAPE’s mascot – Baby Milo.

Which camo bundle colour you get depends on which Vivobook colourway you choose. The Cool Silver model will get you the blue camo bundle, while the Midnight Black comes with the green camo bundle.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition is priced at RM6,499 in Malaysia. You can order online on the ASUS official e-Store, or purchase them at ASUS authorized resellers.

Vivobook S 15 OLED Specs

The Vivoobook S 15 OLED comes with an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU. This is paired with an Intel Iris Xe GPU for graphics.

For memory, there’s 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 1TB of SSD for storage. It comes with Windows 11 Home Pro out of the box.

The Vivobook S 15 OLED sports a 15.6″ 2.8K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rates and peak brightness that reaches up to 2,600nits. Its displays is PANTONE Validated and has a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Other than that, it supports WiFi 6E, and has Bluetooth 5.2.

For ports, the Vivobook has 1x Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, 1x USB 3.2 Type-A, 1x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x combo audio jack, and 1x DC-in.
