Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2026 happening 8 June

Having already announced a bunch of new hardware this month, Apple is now switching its focus onto the software side of things. Cupertino has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be taking place from 8 June onwards online, with invited developers and students also taking part in person at Apple Park.
Apple will be showcasing their latest updates for their platforms at WWDC 2026, including their next generation AI features as well as new software and developer tools. WWDC will also provided unique access to Apple’s own team of engineers and designers with fresh insight into Cupertino’s latest tools and frameworks.
On 8 June itself, WWDC 2026 will start with the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union address, and continues online throughout the week till 12 June. There will be over 100 video sessions and interactive group labs and appointments for devs all around the world to connect directly with Apple, live on the Apple Developer app, website, their YouTube channel and on the Apple Developer BiliBili channel for those in mainland China. Those physically at Apple Park meanwhile will get to meet Apple’s team in person and take part in special activities.
“WWDC is one of the most exciting times for us at Apple because it’s a chance for our incredible global developer community to come together for an electrifying week that celebrates technology, innovation, and collaboration.
We can’t wait to see many of you online and in person for what is sure to be one of our best WWDC events yet,” – Susan Prescott, Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, Apple
