1. Unlock your iPhone with your Apple Watch while wearing a mask

But by enabling the Unlock With Apple Watch feature, you can bypass the Face ID and passcode on your iPhone, given that it is unlocked.
To enable this feature:
- Go to Settings
- Select Face ID and Passcode
- Enable Unlock With Apple Watch
- Accept warning
2. Turn on Fall Detection
By turning on Fall Detection, your Apple Watch can detect whether you’ve fallen down and offer automatic assistance. You can choose to call emergency services or decline the offer to do so.
To enable this feature:
- Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone
- Select My Watch
- Scroll to Emergency SOS
- Enable Fall Detection
3. Eject water mode
Wearing your Apple Watch in the shower? Here’s an Apple Watch tip to keep the inside of your Apple Watch dry.
All Apple Watches from Series 2 onwards are waterproof and include an eject water mode.

Make secure and easy contactless payments with your Apple Watch! Add your cards in your iPhone’s Wallet app, then add them to your Apple Watch.
Once you’ve set up the feature, you can make contactless payments without your iPhone and only your Apple Watch.
You can also send and request money with Apple Pay via Messages or Siri.
Remember that your Apple Pay will disable once you unpair your Apple Watch or turn off your passcode. You’ll have to enter your passcode every time you use Apply Pay if you turn off wrist detection.
