Apple TV app is now available on Android phones and tablets

In case you missed it, Android users can now download the Apple TV app on their mobile devices, including phones, tablets, and foldables. The app rollout began last week, and is already available on the Google Play Store.
Previously, Android users could access the Apple TV app – but only via Android TVs. This expansion now allows Android users to stream Apple’s catalogue of original series and films on Apple TV+ directly from their mobile devices.

On that note, Android users will be able to use their Google Play accounts to subscribe to Apple TV+. If you’re on the fence about subscribing, you can always utilize the seven-day free trial. If you decide to keep the streaming service, you’ll need to commit to RM29.90/month.
The Apple TV app isn’t the first Apple-made app available on Android. Apple’s music streaming service, aptly named Apple Music, is also listed on Google Play, alongside Apple Music Classical, Beats, and the Move to iOS data transfer app.
