Apple expected to reveal iPhone 16 lineup at ‘Glowtime’ event set for September 10
September is just around the corner, and apparently, so is the new iPhone 16 lineup. Almost annually at this time of the year, a swell of rumours circulates unceasingly in anticipation of the new iPhone cycle.
Now, all that is set to be put to bed, as Apple themselves have confirmed the ‘Glowtime’ event scheduled for 9 September, 10 a.m. PT at Apple Park. If you’re a Malaysian reading this, that’s 10 September, 1 a.m. MYT for us.
The keynote will be broadcast live to the public at apple.com, the Apple TV app, and on Apple’s YouTube channel.
Based on several rumours, the iPhone 16 will stick to the four existing models, that’s the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. There have also been talk of Apple foldables of late, but that doesn’t seem to be on the agenda.
Alongside the iPhone 16, the Cupertino-based tech giant is anticipated to reveal new Apple Watches – namely the Apple Watch Series 10 and the third-generation Ultra model – along with new AirPods.
Amidst all the new devices, what might perhaps be the bigger deal are the keynotes regarding Apple Intelligence. As of today, Apple has not fully delved into the generative AI scene, while most of its rivals – most notably Samsung and Google – already have their phones jam-packed with AI features.
That’s set to change come 10 September when Apple reveals more updates on Apple Intelligence integration into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and more of its supporting platforms.
