Apple Event announced for March 4th, here’s what to expect

Apple has finally begun the countdown to their first major launch event of the year, happening on the 4th of March, 2026 at 10pm local time. This special Apple Experience event will be happening across three cities, with launch events happening across New York, London and Shanghai.
This comes as several members of the media received invites to the Apple Experience event. While usually Apple launch events are big, live-streamed events direct from Cupertino’s Apple Park, this time round it seems to be smaller events across several cities.
As for what you can expect, the iPhone 17e seems imminent as last time this year was when the iPhone 16e debuted. Don’t expect a new design, but it will get new hardware under the hood—likely the A19 from the iPhone 17. It’s slated to get MagSafe charging too, a feature many were surprised was left out of the 16e in the first place.

On top of that, the next big product from Apple will likely actually be a new entry-level MacBook. This 13-inch laptop is expected to come with an A18 Pro chipset, and priced more like an iPhone than their current cheapest MacBook Air. It will be offered in more ‘fun’ colours (think iMac) rather than the more professional looking Air or Pro, and Apple expects to ship at least 8 million units in just its first run.
But it likely won’t be the only MacBook to be announced that week. You can also expect new MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, while updates to the base model iPad and the iPad Air should be coming too, with the former getting the A18 and the latter getting an upgrade to an M4 chip. Lastly, while a bit more of a wildcard, there’s a chance that we could see a new Mac Studio, a refreshed Studio Display and perhaps a new Mac Mini too.
