After weeks and weeks of rampant rumours and leaks about the upcoming iPhone SE, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced via his official X account that Apple will indeed hold a launch on February 19.
Though he did not specifically mention which device (or devices?) are scheduled to launch, we can safely deduce that Apple will roll out the red carpet for the iPhone SE 4.

For context, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has been on Apple’s heel regarding the tech giant’s latest entry-level iPhone. It was initially believed that the phone would launch this week, but that has since been debunked. With CEO Tim Cook himself teasing the launch, it seems the wait is nearing its end.
According to Gurman, the iPhone SE 4 will sport noticeable overhauls from the previous 2022 iPhone SE. Apart from complying with standard USB-C, it will also receive a facelift that will see it resemble the iPhone 14. This essentially implies an official goodbye to the retro home button.

Additionally, the A18 chip is rumoured to power the phone, enabling it to accommodate updated features such as Face ID and Apple Intelligence. The A18 chip is the same processor used in the premium iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
