Antigravity A1 features

Unlike typical drones, the A1 is designed around a Grip controller and Vision Goggles. In FreeMotion Mode, users steer the drone simply by pointing the controller, while the goggles mirror head movement in real time. This removes much of the learning curve, although a standard FPV mode is still available for those who prefer manual control. The Vision Goggles themselves offer Pancake optics and dual 1-inch Micro-OLED screens pushing a 2560 x 2560 display, with real-time mirroring of the pilot’s head movement.

The A1 uses a dual-lens 1/1.28-inch sensor system capable of recording up to 8K at 30fps, alongside 5.2K at 60fps and 4K at 100fps. Since it captures in full 360 degrees, users don’t need to frame shots while flying. Footage can be reframed later, with FlowState stabilisation helping to keep videos smooth.

Weighing in at just 249g, the A1 falls within sub-250g regulations in many regions. It offers up to 24 minutes of flight time with the standard battery, or up to 39 minutes with an optional extended pack. A retractable landing gear system helps protect the bottom lens without affecting the 360 view.

The A1 also introduces Sky Path, which allows users to plan and automate flight routes. Once set, the drone can fly on its own, making it easier to capture repeatable shots or share the viewing experience through the goggles. Other built-in tools include Sky Genie for automated cinematic movements, Deep Track for subject tracking, and a Flight Simulator that lets users practice in a virtual environment before flying.

The drone is also integrated with Antigravity’s mobile app and desktop software, offering automatic reframing, editing tools, and quick export options for social media. And if you ever need to fix the A1, Antigravity says that the lenses and propellers are user-replaceable for easy repairability.
