This New Acerpure AQUA WP5 Water Purifier Doesn’t Require Installation; Priced at RM2,999
Acer Malaysia has introduced the Acerpure AQUA WP5, a new hot and cold reverse osmosis (RO) water purifier. It’s a plug-and-play unit that doesn’t need a fixed water connection or installation, making it suitable for most homes and offices.
The purifier uses a 5-in-1 RO filtration system, which includes Polypropylene, Carbon & Scale Inhibitor, RO Membrane, and Post-carbon filters. It also features dual UVC LED sterilisation. According to Acer, this setup removes large particles, chlorine, odours, heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, and pesticide residues. The unit is certified by NSF and SGS for eliminating 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
The RO filter is designed to last up to 12 months. A red indicator light lets users know when it’s time for a replacement, which can be done using a simple twist mechanism.
Water can be dispensed at 5°C, room temperature, or at various hot water settings. There are preset temperatures of 45°C, 70°C, 85°C, and 99°C, with the option to manually adjust the temperature in 1°C increments from 45°C to 99°C. Dispensing volume is also customisable, ranging from 150ml to 999ml.
The Acerpure AQUA WP5 is priced at RM2,999 and is available now through the Acer eStore and Acerpure official stores on Shopee and Lazada. Until 8 September, buyers can get it at a promotional price of RM2,299. The launch offer also includes RM100 in Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit and a complimentary replacement filter worth RM299.
