Acer Swift Edge 14 AI: Sub-1kg laptop with 14″ OLED display, priced from RM5,899
Acer has announced their latest flagship ultraportable laptop in Malaysia, the new Swift Edge 14 AI. This sleek machine weighs in at under 1kg, while still featuring Intel Panther Lake processors under the hood.

The Acer Swift Edge 14 AI is now available for pre-order till 27 April from all authorised Acer retailers and the Acer Malaysia eStore. Here’s how much they’ll cost:
- Acer Swift Edge 14 AI, Core Ultra 5 325, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD – RM5,899
- Acer Swift Edge 14 AI, Core Ultra 7 355, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD – RM6,999
Pre-orders will be come with Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit worth RM250 and a complimentary Acer wireless Bluetooth mouse worth RM239.
Acer Swift Edge 14 AI specs
The Acer Swift Edge 14 AI is their ultra lightweight premium laptop, with a stainless steel magnesium aluminum alloy chassis that weighs in at 990g and measures just 14mm thin, while still offering MIL-STD 810H US military grade durability. Available in Aurora White, there’s a new geometric S pattern on the lid too. The hinge is also able to go down to 180° allowing you to easily share your screen.
And speaking of the display, the Swift Edge 14 AI has a 14-inch OLED panel pushing a 2880 by 1800 resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio with a 120Hz refresh rate and full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Powering the Swift Edge 14 AI are the new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, with the base model coming with an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 and 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, while the top end model gets an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory. They come with a 512GB and 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD respectively and are Copilot+ PCs too, thanks to their up to 50TOPS NPU.
Other features of note include a 65Wh battery that Acer rates as good for up to 21 hours of use. There’s also Acer’s ‘Ultra Boost’ stereo speakers, along with a Acer MyKey on the keyboard, allowing you to set customisable macro settings to quickly open tasks and apps.
You’ll find an FHD IR webcam too, while for I/O there’s a HDMI 2.1 port, two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 3.2 ports and a 3.5mm audio jack.
