Acer Malaysia unveils AI-ready Swift 14 AI laptop with RM4,399 starting price
AI-powered laptops are flourishing, and adding to the scene is Acer’s latest Swift 14 AI laptop. In tandem with the brand’s Swift series, the Swift 14 AI is lumped in the ultraportable category with a weight of just 1.3kg and a slimness of only 9.7mm.
Despite its lightweight form factor, it still sports a hardy aluminium chassis that at least lends it some durability.
Powering the top-shelf variant of the Swift 14 AI is the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 CPU, while the lower variant utilizes the Core Ultra 5 Series 2. Both models will integrate the Intel ARC GPU to complete the all-Intel line-up.
For displays, both models will sport a 14″ OLED 16:10 panel offering WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Of the slew of AI features available on the Swift 14 AI, the one highlighted is the Acer User Sensing 2.0 feature which automatically locks the laptop when the user steps away, and unlocking it again upon the user’s return. Other than that, you’ll have the usual Acer PurifiedView 2.0 and Purified Voice 2.0 which improves video and audio quality for video calls.
This is a Copilot+ PC, so provided you have a subscription, you’ll get access to the suite of Copilot+ AI features too, including Live Caption.
Something unheard of before that Acer has incorporated is the AI activity indicator. Located on the top right corner of the touchpad, the indicator will light up to notify users that an AI feature is active. This, we suppose, allows users to switch off any battery-guzzling features in order to prolong battery life. On that note, Acer says the Swift 14 AI can last up to 17 hours on a single charge.
In regards to ports, the Swift 14 AI comes with a HDMI port, 2x USB-C ports, and 2x USB-A ports.

As aforementioned, the Swift 14 comes in two variants, each sporting the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 and Core Ultra 5 Series 2 CPU. The official pricing of each are as listed below:

- Acer Swift 14 AI, Core Ultra 5 Series 2, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB SSD – RM4,399
The laptop comes pre-installed with Microsoft Home and Students perpetual license, along with a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365.
