Acer Predator Triton 17 X comes with 13th Gen Intel Core i9 and RTX 4090 GPU; Priced at RM18,999

Acer has unveiled yet another addition to their gaming laptop lineup, this time in the form of the Predator Triton 17 X.

This is a top-of-the-line gaming option that brags a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 for CPU, together with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU for graphics. The combination of the two renders the Triton 17 X a workhorse for professionals as well as a proper gaming machine.

It features a 17″ WQXGA mini-LED display with 1,000nits peak brightness and DCI-P3 100% wide colour gamut. According to Acer, refresh rates on the Triton 17 X reaches as high as 250Hz. It is also Eyesafe Certified to give viewers a layer of protection against harmful blue light.

For memory-storage configuration, the Triton 17 X has a massive 64GB DDR5 RAM, and a whopping 4TB SSD for storage. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E.

It features a polished, sandblasted texture and an RGB Predator logo on its metal CNC unibody chassis. Just as with the logo, the keyboard is also RGB lighted.

For optimal cooling, the laptop relies on a vapour chamber as well as a triple-fan system. Additionally, it also has liquid metal thermal grease and dedicated heat pipes for heat dissipation.

The Predator Triton 17 X is available exclusively on the Acer eStore and the Acer Concept Store in IOI City Mall. It officially retails at RM18,999; there is an ongoing launch promo running from the 17 – 31 August.
